Popis

Join a guided tour of the Klementinum in Prague and discover one of the city's hidden gems. See the beautiful Baroque Library Hall, stop by the Meridian Hall, and climb to the top of the Astronomical Tower.

Discover a spectacular Baroque Library and take in sweeping views of Prague on a guided tour of the Klementinum. Meet your guide and set out to explore one of the largest building complexes in Europe. Construction of the property dates back to 1653 and today, the buildings are mostly occupied by the Czech National Library. See the Baroque Library Hall from behind the fence. Marvel at the ornate frescoes, gilded carvings, and large globes that decorate this space. Then, follow your guide to the Astronomical Tower. On your way there, make a stop at the Meridian Hall. View the collection of instruments housed here and learn about how this space was used to determine the exact time of noon thanks to a small beam of sunlight shining through a hole in the wall. Finally, end your tour on a high note as you climb to the top of the Astronomical Tower. Admire sweeping views of the center of Prague and the Prague Castle from 68 meters above the ground.  The operator reserves the right to change the programme. Due to unexpected circumstances, the guide may not be available.
