Břevnov Monastery (Břevnovský klášter) was founded by Prince Boleslav II in 993 AD. The monastery was rebuilt several times and its current Baroque-style buildings date from the 18th century. The monastery is worthy of a visit not solely for its flawless architecture, but also for its location.
