Description

The Church of St Nicholas, situated in the northwestern corner of Old Town Square and built by Kilian Dientzenhofer in the 1730s (not to be confused with the Dientzenhofers’ handiwork in Malá Strana), is a Baroque wedding cake of grandeur, despite being confined to a small area. Previously, it was tucked behind the northern wing of the Old Town Hall, which was destroyed during 1945.
