The old sewage cleaning station

Housed in the old sewage works building, the Ekotechnicke Museum now hosts an intricate look at the industrial history behind Prague. Tours of the building demonstrate how Prague dealt with waste and water, including the two 1903 steam engines that are still in working order.

Constructed at the end of the 19th century, the Ekotechnicke Museum is an interactive and direct way in which visitors can see a piece of Prague that is often overlooked and long forgotten. Given Prague's adaptable history of implemented social theories and designs, this museum is a trip back in time.
