- Pinkas Synagogue...
Description
The Pinkas Synagogue, built in 1535, served as a house of worship until 1941. Following WWII, it was transformed into a memorial, with walls adorned with tens of thousands of names, birthdates, and dates of the disappearance of Czech victims of the Nazis. Additionally, the synagogue houses a collection of artwork created by children in the Terezín concentration camp during WWII.
