Description

Once a fortified hotel, trading centre and customs office for foreign merchants, the pretty courtyard tucked behind the Church of Our Lady Before Týn has been attractively restored and now features numerous shops, restaurants and hotels. Commonly referred to by its German name, Ungelt (translating to ‘customs duty’), the courtyard still retains its medieval caravanserai feel.
