Description
For over 1000 years, the complex of buildings and structures atop Vyšehrad Hill have been an integral part of Czech history. As a royal residence, religious centre, and military fortress, Vyšehrad Citadel is still considered the city’s spiritual home, even though most of its surviving structures are from the 18th century. Located over a wide area with scenic views of the Vltava River and Prague, the Citadel is a must-see attraction for any visitor to the city.
